Printed Letter by Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Chortkov, Wein 1921. Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Chortkov (1854-1933), son of Rabbi David Moshe of Chortkov, grandson of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin and of Rabbi Ahron of Chernobil, and son-in-law of his uncle Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadagur. Successor to his father and leader of thousands of Chotkover Chassidim, including many famous rabbinical figures. The Rebbe of Chortkov was active in public affairs and was one of the founders of Agudas Yisrael. He settled in Vienna during WWI. Author of Ginzei Yisrael. Written on the back.
