Letter by R' Meir Arik, Vienna 1921. R' Meir Arik [1855-1925], a leading Galician Torah scholar, served as rabbi of Yazlovets, Buchach and Tarnów. He passed away in his sukkah on the 16th of Tishrei. He authored are Responsa Imrei Yosher, Tal Torah, Minchas Pittim and Minchas Kena'os. This postcard was sent from Vienna, where Rabbi Meir, along with many other great rabbis and admorim of East Galicia, remained during the First World War. Size : 14 x 9.5 cm Condition : Fine condition, missing a small piece from the bottom corner.
