Long Letter by Rabbi Eliezer Rabinowitz of Minsk, to Rabbi Meir Tzvi Jung, Minsk 1920. Rabbi Eliezer Rabinowitz (1859-1924), learned in the Slutzk Yeshiva under the Beis HaLevy and then went on to learn in the Volozhin Yeshiva. In 1879, he married the daughter of R. Yeruchum Perlman (the Minsker Godol). In 1880 was appointed Rav of Smilowitz. Following the passing of his father-in-law in 1896, he succeeded him as Rav of Minsk where he served until his passing.
