Letter by R' Pinchos Hirshprung, Montreal 1965. R' Pinchos Hirshprung (1912-1998), was one of the most distinguished talmidim of R. Meir Schapiro. He was a world renowned Talmid Chochom, famous for his almost unparalleled Torah knowledge. During the Holocaust, he escaped to Kobe, Japan via Lithuania and then traveled on to Shanghai. In 1941, he reached Canada. He was later appointed as Chief Rabbi of Montreal. Size : 28 x 21.5 cm Condition : Very fine condition.
