Babylonian Talmud - The Zhitomir Shas - The Shapiro Rabbis Printing Press. - Zhitomir Shas - 19 volumes - by the Shapiro family. Books printed at the presses in Slavuta and Zhitomir are known in Chassidic communities to have special sanctity. Even the printing tools and letters were immersed in a mikveh before the beginning of the printing process. It is well-known that possession of a book from these presses is a segulah for protecting one's home and for success. Each volume has 2 title pages in the beginning of the volume, besides Nadarim has just one title page and Chillin is lacking the title pages. Tractate Gitin is lacking 1-2 pages at the end. There are 2 tractate Kedushin, one of then only has 1 title page. Condition : Over all in Very Good-Excellent condition, small damage to the title page of Berachos and Sanhedrin and Kesubes. Some stains and few tears.
