Additional title page in Hebrew. In 1851 a lithograph was published in France - ”Origin of the Rites and Worship of the Hebrews”. The lithograph, published by Dr. D. Rosenberg of Paris, was to a large extent based on ”Sefer Yetzira” and included many Kabbalistic motifs. Considering the complexity of the images integrated into the lithograph, a book was published concurrently explaining the images and their Kabbalistic sources. Presented is an English translation of that book, by Max Wolff (1839-1884), cantor and rabbi in ”Ohavei Shalom” congregation in Boston. The book is accompanied by an illustration - Table of the Ten Kabbalistic Spheres - and Hebrew poems by Wolff.
