Nice letter by R' Issur Zalman Meltzer, To Rav Henkin, 1939. - Nice letter by R' Issur Zalman Meltzer, To Rav Henkin, 1939. Written on the stationary of his son R' Tzvi Yehuda Meltzer. R' Isser Zalman Meltzer (1870-1953), learned in the Volozhin Yeshiva where he was renowned for his brilliance coupled with tremendous diligence. He served as Rosh Yeshiva in Slabodka and then as Rav and Rosh Yeshiva in Slutzk. In 1925, he emigrated to Yerusholayim, where he served as the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Eitz Chaim. Author of the Even Ha’Ozel on the RaMBaM. Size : 27 x 21. Condition : Very fine condition, has tape on the side not effecting text.
