Yaakov Lorberbaum of Lissa. Includes the famous Tzava’h (Will) of the author, which was printed for here the first time. R' Yaakov Lorberbaum (1770-1832) was born into a rabbinical family. Orphaned from his father, he studied under R. Yosef Thumim and R. Meshulam Igra. He served as Rav in various communities most notably Lissa after which he is known. One of the greatest of the Achronim he was held in awe by his rabbinical contemporaries, and his works, including Chavas Da’as, Nesivos Ha’Mishpat, Nachlas Yaakov, Toras Gittin, Bais Yaakov and many others, are classics of Torah scholarship.
