R' Meir Yosef Rubin , a scion of the Ropchitz dynasty, was a son in law of R. Avrumele Steiner of Kerestir, son and successor of R. Shaya’la of Kerestir. In 1927, upon the passing of his father in-law, he succeeded him as Kerestirer Rebbe, and served as Rebbe until he was murdered by the Nazis in 1944. Size : 38.5 cm.
