Document with 4 signatures of the Printer Rabbi Shmuel Zuckerman. - The Jerusalem printer Rabbi Shmuel Zuckerman , born in 1857 in the city of Mezritch ascended with his parents to Jerusalem in 1863. In 1872, learned the printing profession in the printing press of Rabbi Yisrael Beck and his son Rabbi Nissan. Later, he even managed the printing press when Rabbi Nissan Beck traveled to the US. In 1880, Rabbi Zuckerman started to work in the printing press of the Gagin Brothers who eventually took him as a partner and in the end sold him their printing press. Only after 12 years Rabbi Shmuel received an official government permit for operating the printing press in Tamuz 1898. During this time, his printing became the central printing press for most books and printed matter of those years in Jerusalem. Size : 22 x 13 cm. Condition : Good condition, stains and folds.
