large page with lots of Blessings by the Ben Ish Chai of Baghdad, 1876 - A large page written in the distinct handwriting of the Ben Ish Chai The most famous Iraqi rabbinical leader in recent times. At the end of the page the Ben Ish Chai writes many holy blessings, including  ”Hashe Yisbarach Yihiye Be'Ezeinu V'Yishmereinu V'yazreinu Tamid Amen Ken Yehi Ratzon”. It starts with the words,  בסייעתא דשמיא בעזרת ה' נעשה ונצליח לשם יחוד קודשא בריך הוא ושכינתיה  שנה מבורכת לחיים טובים ולשלום שנת תרל”ו בס”ד והנה זכרון הניסים היא הבטחה להגאולה העתידה להיות בב”א And finishes with,  יראו עינינו וישמח לבנו בביאת הגואל משיח צדקנו במהרה בימינו אכי”ר.  השי”ת יהיה בעזרתינו וישמרנו ויעזרינו תמיד אכי”ר. Rabbi Yosef Chaim , was a son of Rabbi Eliyahu and grandson of Rabbi Moshe Chayim – Rabbi of Baghdad, and a disciple of Rabbi Abdallah Somekh – author of Zivchei Tzedek. He was a great halachic authority, Kabbalist and author of numerous rabbinic works and the recognised rabbinical authority by the Jews of Iraq and many other oriental communities. His works are studied and revered by both Sefardim and Ashkenazim. His most famous works are: Ben ish Chai, Ben Ish Chayil, Rav Pe’alim and Ben Yehoyada. The manuscripts of the Ben Ish Chai are considered to be a segula for success and protection. It is known that most of Rabbeinu the author of Ben Ish Chai's writings were written on small leaves, and before us is a large leaf Size : 29 x 21 cm. Pages : 1 page, written on two sides. Condition : Good condition, folding marks and a few tears.
