(6) Mixed Brands from 1940s-1984 - A mixed lot of six vintage comics spanning Marvel, DC, Dell, and Gilberton's Classics Illustrated line. Included are Marvel Comics Group Smurfs #1 (60-cent cover price), Classics Illustrated Junior #562 ”The Enchanted Pony,” Classics Illustrated #77 ”The Iliad,” Classics Illustrated #52 ”The House of the Seven Gables,” DC's The Fox and the Crow #87, and Dell's Walt Disney's New Adventures of Tinker Bell #982. All are raw, ungraded copies showing typical Silver/Bronze Age wear: cover creasing, spine stress lines, edge and corner wear, light brown age spots, and some cover soil consistent with age; the Tinker Bell and Iliad issues show the heaviest spine wear and soiling.
