19th C. RJ Horner Griffin Carved Mahogany Desk / Table
A finely and stately carved 19th century American cabinet maker RJ Horner Winged Griffin Mahogany Partners Desk. Top has a raised work surface with swirling lead carved border and curved corners, swirling leaf carved apron with a single right hand drawer on either side with lion head pulls; the top is raised on 4 figural rattail winged griffin corner supports with raised tier center stretcher. Refinished as shown, some alligator to finish see photos. Measuring approx 30 in. high x 56 in. wide x 37 in. deep.
