Highly Carved 19th C. Italian Renaissance Cherub Crest - A LOUIS XVI STYLE CARVED OAK FIGURAL ARMORIAL CREST, 19TH CENTURY. Depicting a well sculpted seated cherub or cupid presenting a shield form cartouche with family shield surrounded by flowers and drapes. Unsigned by finest quality and presentation as shown. Measuring approx 42” wide x 20” tall x 6” deep. A must see as photos do not do this carving the justice.
