Jacobean Revival Carved Oak Cabinet, circa 1920 - A one-piece carved oak cabinet of shallow depth, dating to the early 20th century. The piece features a dark-stained finish and is configured with a vertical bank of two drawers on the left side and a larger single cupboard door on the right. The exterior is ornamented with recessed panels featuring stepped corners, bordered by beaded molding. A prominent horizontal band of bulbous bead-and-reel turned molding runs across the center of the door and the adjacent vertical stile. The drawers are fitted with circular brass knobs, and the door features a decorative brass escutcheon. The cabinet stands on four integrated square-profile legs. The reverse side is finished with a flat wood panel. The decorative program is characteristic of the Jacobean Revival style, with geometric elements often associated with early 20th-century European and American furniture design.
