Mid-Century Chinoiserie Hand-Painted Record Cabinet and Dry Bar - A mid-twentieth-century Chinoiserie-style low cabinet, designed for use as a record storage unit and dry bar. The rectangular cabinet is constructed from a light-toned wood veneer, possibly maple or fruitwood, with an amber finish. The front features two large doors hand-painted with a continuous Orientalist landscape scene depicting figures in a garden setting with a moon gate, pavilions, and lush foliage including weeping willow trees. The frame and bracket-style base are further embellished with stenciled floral borders and diaper patterns at the corners. The doors open to reveal a single full-width upper shelf. The lower section contains three vertical dividers designed for vinyl record storage and a central pull-out platform. The cabinet includes a pull-out top surface with a black laminate or leatherette inset, operated by small circular metal pulls. The doors are mounted on small brass-toned hinges. This is a single-piece construction. No maker marks are visible on the base or interior of the piece. A lot number sticker 0122 is present on the top corner.
