Traditional Style Needlepoint Upholstered Bench with X-Stretcher - This rectangular bench or stool is designed in a traditional revival style, incorporating elements of late 17th-century European design. The frame is constructed from a dark-stained hardwood and features four turned legs with carved foliate accents at the tops. The legs are stabilized by a molded X-shaped stretcher with a central intersection and terminate in bun feet. The padded seat is upholstered with a needlepoint panel featuring a central floral motif in shades of ochre, cream, and rose on a dark brown ground. The sides of the cushion are upholstered in a matching brown velvet, and the base of the seat is accented with a coordinating decorative tassel fringe trim.
