The set is attributed to Fostoria Glass Company and features the Chintz pattern, which is defined by an all-over acid-etched design of floral blossoms, scrolling foliate vines, and formal crest motifs. The decanter features a rounded, bulbous body that tapers to a tall neck with a ground glass joint, accompanied by a clear glass stopper with a faceted hexagonal top. Each cordial glass is constructed with a conical bowl, a slender plain stem, and a circular foot. The glassware is thin-walled and clear, characteristic of American Elegant Glass production from the mid-20th century. No permanent manufacturer marks or signatures are visible on the pieces; temporary adhesive lot tags are present on the base of the decanter.
