A.B. Frost, A Pair of Color Lithograph Sporting Prints - This pair of color lithographs after A.B. Frost (American, 1851-1928) depicts classic American hunting scenes. One print shows two men in a flat-bottomed boat among marsh grasses, with one man standing to aim a shotgun. The second print depicts two men in a grassy field with a setter-type hunting dog, where one man is shown offering a flask to the other. Each print bears the plate signature A.B. FROST in a bottom corner of the image area. The works are presented in matching dark wood frames with brown mats. No edition numbers, publisher stamps, or hand signatures are visible. One frame bears a lot sticker numbered 0777 and the other a yellow sticker labeled 717 (2).
