American Golden Oak Side-by-Side Secretary Bookcase, Early 20th Century - This American early 20th-century side-by-side secretary bookcase is constructed of oak with quartersawn grain visible in several sections. The unit features a tall glazed cabinet on the left side containing three adjustable shelves. The right-hand section is comprised of a drop-front desk situated above a lower cabinet. The desk is fitted with two ornate cast metal bail pulls, while the lower cabinet doors are embellished with recessed panels containing carved oval medallions of scrolling foliate and stylized fleur-de-lis motifs.
