Lindby Custom Linbar Chrome Engine Guard Highway Bar - A chrome-plated steel motorcycle engine guard, identified as the Linbar model, featuring a distinctive angular, flared silhouette designed to function as both a crash protector and a highway footrest. The tubular construction includes two upper horizontal sections equipped with integrated black rubber O-ring foot pads to provide grip and vibration damping for the rider's feet. The guard utilizes a three-point mounting system consisting of a central top bracket and two circular base plates located at the bottom of the side rails. One of the circular mounting plates features stamped text applied in three lines of block characters: the first line reads LINBY CUSTOM, the second line reads PATENT NO., and the third line reads D361311. The engine guard shows signs of heavy use and exposure. Widespread pitting and oxidation are visible throughout the chrome finish (photo 1). Significant scuffing and scraping are present on the underside of the lower rails, consistent with road contact (photo 2). Surface rust is visible around the weld points and mounting brackets (photo 4). The rubber O-rings on the foot pads show signs of drying and degradation, with some rings appearing loose or missing their original seated position (photo 5).
