A Pair of 22 Karat Yellow Gold and Ruby Floral Drop Earrings - A matched pair of 22 karat yellow gold drop earrings. Each earring features a floral stud set with seven round-cut, faceted red rubies in a cluster arrangement of six outer stones surrounding a central stone. The studs are attached to a square-link box chain that terminates in a polished gold sphere. The earrings are secured with post-and-nut closures. One post bears multiple impressed marks including the numerals 916 followed by a circular symbol containing a stylized bird or figure, a shield-shaped symbol, and characters that appear as U, N, and J. The numerals 916 indicate a gold purity of 22 karat. Based on a ruler in the photographs, the earrings measure approximately 1.25 inches in total length. Length: 1.25 inches. The earrings are in good auctionable condition. The metal surfaces show minor surface wear and small scratches consistent with use. The gemstones appear securely set within the floral clusters.
