Bidspirit auction | Two Pieces of Signed Art

Two Pieces of Signed Art Glass including Steuben Bud Vase and Strombergshyttan Vase - This lot features two distinct examples of hand-blown clear art glass. The solid base features a single controlled bubble, often referred to as a bullicante effect. The polished base of this vase is incised with the script signature Steuben. Both pieces demonstrate high-quality glassmaking techniques including hand-blowing and precision base polishing. Height of bulbous vase: approximately 6 inches Height of tapered bud vase: approximately 8.5 inches. The bulbous vase shows significant interior cloudiness and residue haze throughout the body (photo 1). The bud vase is in good overall condition with minor shelf wear and faint surface scratches on the underside of the base (photo 3). No chips or cracks are visible on either piece.
