Three All Signed Steuben Colorless Lead Glass Optical Sculptures - A trio of heavy, colorless lead glass optical sculptures by Steuben. The set consists of one geometric ”Cut Cube” and two multifaceted, irregular polyhedral prisms. The cube features deep V-cut facets that meet to form a central recessed triangular void, designed to create complex internal reflections. The two multifaceted prisms are cut with sharp, irregular edges. Two of the pieces bear a frosted engraving reading ”5-28-80” on several facets. Each piece features an incised cursive signature on the side that reads ”Steuben”. Height of center cube: approximately 2.25 inches Width/Height of prisms: approximately 2.5 to 3 inches. The glass retains good clarity and transparency. All three pieces exhibit visible surface scratches and scuffing consistent with handling and age, notably on the flat display surfaces (Photo 1). There is a small impact mark or flea bite on the edge of one prism near the engraved date (Photo 4). Minor surface dust and fingerprints are present across the collection (Photo 2).
