Mid-Century Modern Stained Beech Folding Chair with Slatted Seat - A mid-century modern folding side chair constructed from solid stained hardwood. The chair utilizes an open A-frame design formed by flat rectangular uprights and cross-stretchers, joined by internal metal pivot hardware. The seat is composed of nine longitudinal wooden slats secured to transverse supports and is engineered to fold flat flush within the outer rectangular frame. The lower front horizontal stretcher bears faint, weathered markings that are illegible. No maker names or manufacturer stamps are legible. Good structural condition with full folding functionality. Visible surface wear throughout, including edge wear and finish loss to the forward edges of the seat slats and bottom rails (photo 1). Scattered surface scratches, minor finish fading, and small abrasions across the frame uprights and top back rail (photos 1 and 2). Metal pivot pins show mild oxidation.
