A Collection of Weeden Tin Lithograph Steam Engine Workshop Accessories and Line Shaft - This group of mechanical steam toy accessories features a variety of workshop tools mounted to a wooden base, along with a separate line shaft assembly. The set includes a windmill-style powerhouse tower, a circular saw table, a grinding wheel table, and a vertical drill press. These components are constructed primarily of painted and lithographed tinplate with cast metal pulleys and support brackets. The main accessories are fixed to a rectangular wooden base finished with orange paint and a green beveled edge. Mechanical operation is achieved through a system of shafts and pulleys designed to be driven by a stationary steam engine. A printed gold adhesive label with a red border is present on the wooden base and the windmill tower, reading WEEDEN in red capital letters, with TRADE MARK and REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. printed in black. A similar label is also applied to the green surface of the separate line shaft assembly. The wooden base measures approximately 16.5 inches in length by 11.5 inches in width.
