Antique Sterling Silver and Lapis Lazuli Three Strand Necklace - An antique pendant necklace featuring a large polished oval lapis lazuli cabochon. The natural gemstone displays a deep blue ground with characteristic white calcite mottling and metallic gold-toned pyrite inclusions throughout. The pendant is suspended from a decorative silver-toned metal bail featuring an openwork Celtic-inspired trinity knot motif. The necklace is constructed with a three-strand fine cable chain. The piece secures with a lobster claw clasp and includes an adjustable extender chain finished with a small metal bead. While the metal is of sterling silver quality, no legible hallmarks or maker names are visible on the components. Necklace drop length: approximately 9.5 to 10 inches Pendant length: approximately 2.5 inches Pendant width: approximately 1.25 inches at the widest point. The lapis lazuli cabochon is in good condition with a high-luster finish and no visible chips or cracks.
