Sterling Silver Mother and Child Pendant Necklace with Five Oval Blue Gemstones - This antique sterling silver necklace features a stylized openwork pendant depicting two figures in profile, representing a mother and child. The lower arc of the pendant is set with five faceted oval-cut gemstones of a pale blue hue, consistent with aquamarine or blue topaz. The pendant is suspended from a fine cable link chain. The back of the gemstone settings features a rectangular stamp reading 925. The chain is equipped with a spring ring clasp, and the adjoining oval jump ring is incised with the mark 925. Length: 18 inches Weight: 5.927 grams. The necklace is in antique condition. There is significant surface tarnish visible across the metal of the pendant and the length of the chain, particularly in the recessed areas on the reverse side (photos 3, 4, and 5). The five gemstones appear secure within their respective prong settings (photo 2). The spring ring clasp is functional.
