Antique Gold Filled Watch Fob with Classical Intaglio - This antique Gold Filled watch fob features a traditional T-bar and chain assembly. The chain is composed of oval links, measuring approximately 2.25 inches in total length. Attached to the chain is a large spring ring clasp that secures a square fob pendant. The fob is set with a dark, opaque stone intaglio, which appears to be black onyx. The intaglio is carved with the profile of a Classical figure wearing a plumed helmet. The stone is held in a decorative mounting featuring a fluted or gadrooned cap design. The metal surfaces show signs of aging consistent with antique pieces, including a darkened patina. There are no maker's marks, purity stamps, or hallmarks visible on any component of the piece. T-bar width: 1.25 inches Total length: 2.25 inches. This antique item remains in good condition, showing character and wear consistent with its age.
