Three US Army Sterling Silver Sharpshooter Marksmanship Qualification Badges with Bars - A trio of sterling silver US Army Sharpshooter marksmanship qualification badges. Each badge features a Maltese cross with a bullseye target center, encircled by a laurel wreath. The badges are accompanied by suspended qualification bars for various weapon types. The first badge assembly includes two suspended bars: one stamped RIFLE and the other RECOILLESS RIFLE. The second badge assembly features a single PISTOL bar. The third badge is the wreath and cross component only, without attached bars. The reverse of the first badge is stamped STERLING KREW G-I. The RIFLE bar on this badge is similarly stamped STERLING KREW G-I. The RECOILLESS RIFLE bar is impressed with a crest symbol containing the letter S and the word STERLING. The second badge reverse is stamped STERLING KREW CO, while its PISTOL bar is stamped with a circled V, G-I, and STERLING. The third badge is stamped KREW STERLING on the reverse. All three badges are equipped with horizontal pin backs and safety catches. These antique items are in good vintage condition with an aged patina and tarnish consistent with their sterling silver composition. One link on the left side of the PISTOL bar is detached from the badge loop (photo 1 and 2). The strike on the PISTOL bar text appears slightly more shallow than the other bars (photo 1). All pin mechanisms are intact and functional. No other significant losses or repairs are visible.
