Vintage Chinese Cloisonne Enamel Hand Knotted Bead Necklace with Silver Clasp - A vintage Chinese cloisonne enamel bead necklace featuring approximately 48 hand-knotted spherical beads. Each bead is decorated with floral motifs in white, pink, light blue, and green enamels set against a cobalt blue ground, outlined with gold-toned metal filigree cloisons. The beads are individually hand-knotted on a light green textile cord. The necklace secures with a box tab insert clasp featuring an oval filigree face with a central floral wirework design. The underside of the clasp is gold-toned metal over a silver base and bears an incised rectangular mark reading SILVER. The necklace is accompanied by its original rectangular presentation box, which is covered in a light-colored silk fabric featuring an embroidered geometric and floral pattern. Length: 23.5 inches Bead Diameter: 10 mm to 12 mm. The necklace is in good antique condition. The silver clasp shows visible tarnish and wear to the gold plating on both the face and the underside (photos 3 and 4). The green silk stringing cord exhibits light fraying, particularly at the knots adjacent to the clasp loops (photo 4). The enamel beads show minor surface pits and irregularities inherent to the hand-crafted cloisonne process (photo 5). The original silk-covered box shows light surface wear and minor fraying at the edges consistent with age (photo 1).
