Antique Sterling Silver United States Navy Naval Aviation Signet Ring - This antique sterling silver signet ring features a rectangular face with a central circular emblem depicting a fouled anchor flanked by outspread wings, a design consistent with naval aviation insignia. The ring is cast with integrated shoulders and a plain shank. The interior of the shank bears an impressed mark showing the number 10. Below this is a small, rectangular recessed mark that is worn and not clearly legible as a maker name or hallmark. Ring size: 9.5. The ring exhibits significant surface wear and tarnish consistent with its antique age. There is visible pitting and surface abrasion across the shank and the face (photo 1). The central emblem shows softening of the design from long-term use (photo 3). The interior of the band displays heavy scratching and darkened oxidation (photo 5).
