Antique Gold Tone Sterling Silver and White Gemstone Tennis Bracelet - This antique tennis-style bracelet is crafted in sterling silver with a yellow gold-tone finish. The bracelet features a continuous line of approximately 49 individually set, round-cut clear gemstones. The piece is constructed with articulated links, allowing for flexibility on the wrist. The clasp is a traditional box style, secured by a single figure-eight safety catch. The underside of the clasp is impressed with a square cartouche containing a stylized, serifed letter W and the numerical mark 925. Weight: 12.918 g Length: 7 1/4 inches. The antique bracelet shows physical characteristics consistent with significant age and regular use. There is widespread wear and thinning to the gold-tone plating across the exterior and interior surfaces, most notably on the clasp assembly and the edges of the gemstone settings (photo 4), where the white silver base metal is visible. Several areas exhibit natural tarnish and surface oxidation. All gemstones appear to be present and intact within their respective prong settings. The box clasp and safety catch are functional.
