Two Sterling Silver Items Including Floral Band Ring and Antique Sewing Thimble - This lot comprises two sterling silver items: a decorative band ring and a sewing thimble. The band ring features a continuous cast floral pattern with five-petaled flowers and leaves around the exterior. The interior of the ring is stamped with the word STERLING followed by a dash and the letters UE flanked by arrows: STERLING ->UE<-. The sewing thimble features a honeycomb-pitted dome and a lower band decorated with engraved Art Deco-style geometric panels, including hatched and zig-zag patterns. A rectangular cartouche on the decorative band is stamped with the number 8. Interior ring diameter: 11/16 inches (approximately 17 mm) Ring size: US 6.5 Thimble height: 3/4 inches Thimble base diameter: 5/8 inches Total combined weight: 5.307 g. Both antique silver items exhibit characteristics consistent with their age. The ring shows surface wear, minor scratches, and significant tarnish within the recessed areas of the floral design (photo 3). The thimble shows visible tarnish within the engraved geometric panels and across the surface (photo 2). The top of the thimble dome shows slight flattening and wear to the honeycomb pattern (photo 2).
