Antique Sterling Silver and Amethyst Bezel Set Link Bracelet - An antique sterling silver link bracelet featuring nine bezel-set oval amethyst cabochons. Each gemstone link is accented with a decorative silver bead on either side, connected by simple oval jump rings. The amethyst stones exhibit natural internal inclusions and a rich purple hue. The reverse of the links features a circular aperture behind each stone to allow light passage. The bracelet is secured with a lobster claw clasp. One link on the reverse side is stamped with an impressed mark reading 26. The inner tongue of the clasp is struck with an impressed mark reading 925. Length: Approximately 8 1/4 inches Weight: 0.433 ozt. The bracelet remains in antique condition. There is significant surface oxidation and tarnish across the silver components, notably on the reverse of the links (photo 3) and within the recesses of the bezel settings (photo 2). The metal shows light surface scratches and signs of wear consistent with age (photo 5).
