Antique Lampworked Glass and Multi-Colored Seed Bead Wire Wrapped Link Lariat Necklace - An antique double-strand lariat-style necklace featuring hand-crafted lampworked glass beads. The necklace is constructed with a series of elongated teardrop-shaped focal beads in various opaque and translucent colors including green, blue, yellow, orange, and cream. These larger beads are decorated with diverse glass techniques, showcasing inclusions, swirls, stripes, and spotted ”confetti” patterns. Interspersed throughout the strands are numerous small, round glass seed beads in a vibrant palette of red, blue, green, pink, yellow, and white. The beads are individually joined by a silver-tone wire-wrapped chain with an oxidized patina. The necklace is designed as a continuous loop without a clasp. No hallmarks or maker's marks are visible on the metal components or glass elements. Length: 25 inches (approximate total circumference). The necklace is in good antique condition. The metal wire links show surface oxidation and darkening consistent with age and the nature of the base metal (photo 1). The lampworked glass beads remain largely intact with varied surfaces typical of hand-made antique glass (photo 2). Minor surface wear and faint scratches are present on the glass beads from historic use (photo 3). The wire-wrapping remains secure across both strands (photo 4).
