Fred Harvey Era Sterling Silver and Turquoise Thunderbird Brooch - A Fred Harvey era sterling silver bar-style brooch featuring a central Thunderbird motif. The stylized bird is depicted with outstretched wings and a stepped tail, detailed with stamped and incised linear and serrated patterns. At the center is a single, bezel-set oval turquoise cabochon displaying a green-blue color with a prominent brown and tan matrix. The reverse features a simple C-clasp pin mechanism with a long pin stem. The metal surfaces exhibit a heavy dark patina and oxidation throughout. No hallmarks, signatures, or metal purity stamps are visible on the item. Length: Approximately 2 5/8 inches across Weight: 0.209 ozt (approximately 6.5 grams).
