Sterling Silver Foliate Spray Brooch with Turquoise Color Cabochons - This antique foliate spray brooch is crafted in sterling silver. The design features a stylized bouquet consisting of two elongated leaves with fine-lined Florentine texturing, a twisted wire accent, and three smooth-polished stems. Two flower-like settings with scalloped bezels hold oval cabochon-cut stones of an opaque turquoise-blue color. The reverse of one flower setting features a circular metal disc with impressed marks. Following the bottom curve is the word STERLING. Centered above a horizontal dividing line is a lowercase d and below the line is a lowercase c. The brooch is secured with a standard pin stem and a rolling safety catch. Length: 2 3/4 inches Weight: 0.157 ozt. The brooch is in good antique condition. Both gemstones are present and securely held within their settings (photo 2). The sterling silver surface shows a light natural patina consistent with age, particularly in the recessed areas of the textured leaves (photo 1). The pin mechanism on the reverse is intact and functional (photo 3). No significant scratches, dents, or metal fatigue are visible.
