Sterling Silver Tree of Life Necklace with Green Gemstones - An antique sterling silver bicolor necklace featuring a central circular pendant. The openwork pendant is designed as a stylized Tree of Life, set with eighteen round-cut green gemstones representing leaves. The tree itself and the inner background show an oxidized or dark rhodium-plated finish, while the organic, textured outer frame is finished with yellow gold plating. The pendant is suspended from a dark-toned sterling silver cable link chain. The back of the pendant is impressed with the characters 925 MLD CHINA. The lobster claw clasp is stamped 925 on the interior lever. Chain Length: 18 inches Pendant Diameter: 1 inch Weight: 0.300 ozt (approximately 9.33 grams). The necklace is in good antique condition. There is light surface wear and minor oxidation consistent with age. Several small stray fibers are caught in the gemstone prongs (photo 2). The lobster claw clasp is in good working order.
