Antique Sterling Silver Pave Set Dome Cocktail Ring - This antique sterling silver cocktail ring features a prominent dome design with a circular pave-set face. The central decorative element is encrusted with numerous small round-cut colorless stones set into a white-toned circular base. The silver-toned metal mounting is characterized by a high-polish finish and openwork teardrop-shaped cutouts on the shoulders. The recesses of these cutouts are accented with black enamel-like inlay, providing a graphic contrast to the polished metal. The interior and exterior surfaces of the ring have been examined, and no maker's marks, hallmarks, or country-of-origin marks are visible. The band is a solid, wide shank that tapers slightly toward the underside. Ring Size: US 6.75 Interior Diameter: 17 mm. The ring is in good antique condition. The high-polish metal surfaces show light surface scratching and minor scuffs consistent with age and previous use, most notably on the underside of the shank (photo 4). The pave-set stones remain intact within the setting. There is minor yellowing and discoloration to the white setting material at the perimeter of the stone cluster (photo 5). The black enamel accents show minor surface wear but are complete without significant losses (photo 1). The interior of the band is smooth and free of structural damage (photo 4).
