Antique Brass Mesh Bracelet with Carved Green and Red Floral Cabochons - This antique mesh link bracelet is constructed from gold-tone brass and features a series of decorative panels. The bracelet is set with two green carved gemstone cabochons and two reddish-orange carved gemstone cabochons, all featuring intricate floral motifs. Interspersed between the cabochons are stylized floral clusters accented with small white faux-pearls and clear paste stones. The bracelet is composed of a flexible metal mesh band that terminates in a fold-over clasp with a safety catch. The reverse side of the decorative links exhibits a cast texture. No maker's marks, metal purity hallmarks, or signatures are visible on the item. Length: 7 1/4 inches. This antique piece shows signs of age and wear. There is significant loss to the gold-tone plating and visible tarnishing across the brass surfaces, particularly on the interior of the band (photo 2 and 10). Several small faux-pearls and clear accent stones are missing from the decorative floral clusters (photo 3 and 6). Minor green verdigris is present on some of the mesh links (photo 6). The carved cabochons remain intact with surface wear consistent with age.
