Assortment of Antique Equestrian and Agricultural Bridle Rosettes and Metal Buttons - An assortment of antique buttons and bridle rosettes featuring equestrian and agricultural motifs. This group includes two domed bridle rosettes with glass tops: one displays a reverse-painted or lithographed image of a horse's head in a bridle, and the smaller rosette features a black silhouette of a horse over a gold glitter background. Two additional clear glass pieces contain molded relief designs, including one with a textured horse head. The metal components of the collection include a brass-toned button etched with a harvest scene depicting a bound wheat sheaf, a scythe, a pitchfork, and a rake, alongside two plain domed brass-alloy pieces. All items feature fixed, heavy-gauge wire shanks on the reverse, characteristic of horse tack hardware and livery fastenings. The etched agricultural button displays a line pattern and a chain-link decorative border near the bottom edge. Diameter: approximately 0.75 inches to 1.5 inches. This antique collection shows signs of age consistent with historical use. Significant surface oxidation and heavy rust are visible on the wire shanks and the reverse metal plates of several pieces (photos 6 and 7). The etched agricultural button shows surface wear and minor deformation to the rim (photo 2). The glass-domed horse head rosette exhibits internal clouding and minor surface scratches (photo 3). The molded glass horse head button has small areas of green oxidation visible through the glass (photo 5). The plain domed brass buttons show surface tarnishing and minor abrasions (photo 1).
