Sterling Silver Emerald Cut Ametrine and White Topaz Cocktail Ring - This antique sterling silver cocktail ring features a large, central emerald-cut bicolour gemstone. The stone exhibits the distinct purple and yellow-orange color zoning characteristic of ametrine. It is held in a four-prong basket setting. Each shoulder is accented with a cluster of three small, round-cut clear stones, likely white topaz or cubic zirconia. The interior of the band features an impressed mark with the characters TGGC in a rectangular frame and a fineness mark reading 925, indicating sterling silver. Ring size: US 7.25. This antique ring shows overall wear consistent with its age. The silver metal has fine surface scratches and scuffs visible throughout the band and setting (photos 1, 3, 4). There is some debris and buildup visible in the gallery under the stones (photos 1, 3). Two small fibers are present on the table of the central gemstone (photo 2). The gemstone facets show minor abrasions at the junctions (photo 2).
