Vintage Trifari Gold Toned Snake Chain Necklace with Blue Marquise Rhinestones - A vintage collar-style costume jewelry necklace featuring a central decorative bib section. The piece is constructed from gold-toned metal and utilizes a flexible snake chain. The central ornament is designed with flowing, ribbon-like metallic elements accented by blue marquise-cut rhinestones and small, clear round-cut rhinestones. The blue stones are arranged in a fan-like cluster at the bottom and are also integrated into the scrolled side sections. The necklace secures with a fold-over clasp. A stamped mark on the back of the clasp reads TRIFARI and PAT PEND in sans-serif capital characters. Wearable length: approximately 14 inches Decorative section width: approximately 4.5 inches. This antique item shows signs of age consistent with its period. There is visible wear and tarnish to the gold-toned finish, particularly on the clasp and the reverse of the settings (photo 4). Surface grime is present between the stones and within the recessed areas of the setting (photo 2). All rhinestones appear to be present, with some stones exhibiting age-related dulling of their brilliance (photo 1).
