Bidspirit auction | Navajo Sterling Silver and Turquoise

Navajo Sterling Silver and Turquoise Leaf and Raindrop Motif Cocktail Ring - A vintage Navajo sterling silver cocktail ring featuring traditional Southwestern hand-wrought design elements. The center is set with a natural light blue turquoise cabochon showing a slight green tint and natural matrix pitting, held within a sawtooth bezel. The setting is embellished with an oxidized silver leaf with hand-stamped vein details and four silver raindrops or beads of graduated sizes. The construction features a split-shank band that tapers into a solid single band at the rear. The reverse of the setting exhibits a hand-finished, textured surface with no visible maker's marks or signatures. Close-up inspection of the interior band and reverse shows a dark, aged patina consistent with older sand-cast or hand-wrought Native American jewelry. Ring size: 7.5 Head length: 0.75 inches. This antique ring is in good vintage condition. The silver retains a heavy, dark oxidation and patina throughout the setting and band (photo 1). The turquoise stone remains securely set in the sawtooth bezel and exhibits natural surface pitting and light wear consistent with age and material (photo 2). The silver band shows minor surface scratches and slight deformation from regular use (photo 5). There are no visible repairs or structural failures.
