Sajen Sterling Silver Bypass Ring with Carved Face and Blue Topaz - A sterling silver bypass-style cocktail ring by the maker Sajen. The central focal point is a circular cabochon featuring a hand-carved face with closed eyes and a serene expression. The material appears to be carved bone or mother-of-pearl. This central element is secured in a polished bezel. The bypass shank extends around the face, terminating in two bezel-set, faceted round gemstones that appear to be blue topaz. The interior of the band features impressed characters reading sajen 925 ID. The piece is constructed of .925 sterling silver and is an antique item. Height: 25 mm Size: US 7.5. This antique ring shows signs of age and previous use. Significant tarnish is visible across the silver surfaces, particularly in the recessed areas (photo 1). Fine surface scratches and scuffing are present on the silver band and bezel consistent with its antique status (photo 5). The carved face and gemstones appear secure in their settings with no visible chips or cracks to the stones (photo 2).
