Sarah Coventry Sterling Silver Cocktail Ring with Uranium Glass Stone - A vintage Sarah Coventry sterling silver cocktail ring featuring a large oval-cut faceted green center stone. The stone is set in an ornate four-pronged openwork basket with stylized foliate and petal-like decorative elements. Under ultraviolet light, the faceted stone exhibits a bright lime-green fluorescence characteristic of uranium glass or certain synthetic spinels. The interior of the band features a copyright symbol followed by the name SARAH COV stamped in capital letters. Further along the inner band, the word STERLING is impressed. Ring Size: US 5.5 Stone and setting length: 0.75 inches (19 mm). This antique ring is in good condition with a heavy patina and tarnish consistent with its age, visible in the recessed areas of the silver setting (photo 2, 3). The center stone shows minor surface wear and small flea bites to the facet junctions (photo 2, 6). The sterling silver band displays light surface scratches and signs of wear (photo 3).
