Lustern Gold Filled over Sterling Silver Floral Expansion Bracelet - A vintage Lustern expansion bracelet crafted in 1/20 12K gold-filled metal over a sterling silver base. The design features a prominent centerpiece with three tiered three-dimensional flower heads. The central flower is set with a round faceted clear stone measuring approximately 7mm, flanked by two smaller flowers each set with a round faceted red stone measuring approximately 5mm. The bracelet body is constructed of interlocking S-shaped expansion links, with alternating links featuring embossed floral and scroll motifs. The interior of one link is stamped with an impressed mark reading LUSTERN followed by 1/20 12K G.F. ON STERLING. Centerpiece length: 2.5 inches Relaxed interior diameter: 2 inches. This antique piece shows characteristic heavy oxidation and tarnish throughout the silver and gold-filled surfaces, particularly in the recessed areas of the floral designs and between the expansion links (photo 1). There is visible surface wear to the gold-filled layer consistent with age (photo 3). The stones are securely set and appear intact with minor surface abrasions (photo 5). The expansion mechanism remains functional (photo 2).
