A gold-tone plate on the side is printed with red text reading LIONEL No 381E BILD-A-LOCO. The decanter is mounted on a rectangular dark-stained wooden display base. Affixed to the front of the wooden base is an oval gold-tone plaque printed with black text reading 1928 No. 381E LOCOMOTIVE BY LIONEL. The original sage green cardboard retail box is included, featuring printed text on the front: AVON THE LIONEL CLASSIC TRAIN COLLECTION: No. 381E LOCOMOTIVE with wood display base. The decanter is opaque and likely contains men's aftershave or cologne. , The locomotive decanter shows minor paint rubbing on the silver-tone marker lights and gold-tone pantograph edges (photo 2, photo 3).
