Lionel Pennsylvania 4866 Silver GG-1 Electric Engine Display Model with Wood Base - A die-cast metal or heavy resin display model of a Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) GG-1 electric engine, produced as part of The Lionel Classic Train Collection. This non-powered scale model features the streamlined form of the GG-1 finished in silver paint with a prominent red horizontal pinstripe and a black undercarriage. The locomotive body is detailed with black Road Number 4866, the text PENNSYLVANIA, and a red keystone logo containing the letters P R R. The top of the engine is fitted with two black pantographs. The item includes a dark-stained rectangular wooden display base. Affixed to the front of the base is a gold-tone oval adhesive label reading GG-1 ELECTRIC ENGINE BY LIONEL. The original white cardboard packaging is present, featuring a repeating faint V watermark. The box end is printed with the identifying text THE LIONEL CLASSIC TRAIN COLLECTION GG-1 ELECTRIC ENGINE with wood display base. The model is housed in its original molded polystyrene protective inserts and remains sealed within its factory clear plastic wrap. , The display model is in excellent, unused condition and remains factory-sealed in its internal plastic packaging (photo 1). The wooden display base shows minor surface dust but no visible scratches or chips (photo 4). The original cardboard box shows significant wear, including a 2-inch tear and associated creasing at one upper corner (photo 5) and general surface scuffing and minor staining across the exterior panels (photo 6).
